Shoes run small and it’s really not free returns, there is a restocking fee. Gorgeous shoes though.Mephisto uses beautiful, unique leathers for their shoes and this pair is no exception. High-quality construction and their comfortable, supportive footbed (with actual arch support!) are additional perks. Sadly, they're not made for short, wide feet like mine; by the time I sized up to gain width, they were too long. But if you don't have "challenging" feet and are looking for a "flip flop" sandal that's as comfortable as a sneaker, you can't go wrong with these!Like the combination of leathers. Like the fit and arch support.These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I found them very light weight compared to my previous Helen sandal because of the cork foot bed. My usual size 9 was a perfect fit!These sandals were highly recommended for me by my sister in law! after many months of procrastinating due to cost, I finally got a pair! they feel so good and I have a bad back and they seem to help with the walking with less pain. They are very attractive for a correcting sandal. I got 2 pairs now the gold/brown and the silver/black. Love them both!Love these shoes!I have bunions and can only wear certain shoes. I can walk all day in Mephisto sandals without pain. I highly recommend!The shoes are beautiful and I have purchased many shoes made by Mephisto. I wear a size 9 or 40 in the European size. A 9 shoe can be a 39 (8 1/2 -9) or a 40 (9 - 9 1/2). I was sent a size 39 which doesn't fit as well but I did 't want to go through the hassle of returning it with hopes they wouldn't make the same mistake again. So I kept them. Amazon should state the American as well as the European size in their advertisements.I love this shoe and have bought it multiple times. It has a lower profile than most shoes this company makes and the foot bed it very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and will continue to purchase this she in the future.
