These are the perfect legging. They are somewhat snug out of the package, but I would suggest not sizing up. After a wear or two, these will give and be more comfortable. They are extremely high-waisted, so I do at times experience some rolling in the waistband but mostly when I've been sitting for extended periods of time. For me, these are the perfect length. I am just under 5' 2'' and wanted these to fit right above my ankle- this is exactly where these hit. Anytime something is advertised as cropped, it is usually ankle length on me, which is perfect! These are in no way see through and provide excellent coverage and smoothing qualities.
