These are really nice leggings. They are not see through at all...spent some time in different light in front of the mirror to check. They are a slim cut...i am 5'4", 150#, with a larger waist, and i found these to fit well throught the legs and hips, and there was enough give in the waistband that i didn't feel constricted. They are not shiny, but very soft and warm on the inside. I wore them for about 8 hours the first day, and they neither bagged in the knees nor grabbed at my calves or ankles like some leggings do. The length was great, probably could cover someone up to 5'7" at least.
