These have good coverage and are not sheer at all... But the design is printed onto white fabric, so when you put them on and the fabric stretches, they lighten considerably because the white shows through. They're comfortable other than the coarse/itchy tag, which I removed. I'm 5'7" and heavier during pregnancy so I ordered a large, but I found them too long for where the bones are printed; lots of fabric bunched around my ankles, even though the print of the bones was positioned correctly along my legs.
