If you are looking for arch support you need to keep looking. I have other Mephisto shoes and the arch support is great. Sadly I had to return these because there was no arch support. Not worth the price if you have to add a great arch support insole. I am sad because I truly wanted to love them.These shoes are beautifully made but do not fit like any Mephisto size 8 I’ve worn in the past. They were too narrow and surprisingly long, so I had to return them.This is the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever owned. I have worn out two pairs and have just bought my third pair of the exact same shoe. I hope they never discontinue it!
